Spooky, Wacky and Weird Tales

The Davis County Museums group will host a night of spooky, wacky and weird tales presented by local storytellers. The combined museums in Davis County have collected some entertaining stories and recruited talented individuals to tell the tales at the Farmington Community Center located at 120 South Main Street, Farmington beginning at 7:00 p.m. on October 17th.

Invited to participate in this family-friendly event, are Trish Duncan, Karl Behling, Chadwick Greenhalg, and Dick Siddoway. All live in Davis County and have experience in writing as well as storytelling skills. Mark your calendars now and plan on bringing friends and neighbors to the event.

Children’s Activity – Tell a Story

For thousands of years, storytellers have created and passed down stories to children. Use story parts in the handout or create something new to make up a scary, mysterious, or funny tale. Think of tall tale, something that no one else could imagine but you. Now tell it to a friend or family member. How dramatic can you make it?
