Exhibits, Events & More
LAST CHANCE TO SHARE. There is still time to add your memories to the Clover Club display. Look for a contest drawing to win a Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head play set. Forms will be available for pick up at the display in the Kaysville City Building’s north foyer. Instructions will be posted to the Our Kaysville Story Facebook group. April 1 – no fooling – is the deadline to mail in forms to enter the drawing.
SEEKING YOUR HELP – KFH Museum is planning a Kaysville & DHS Bands Exhibit. We are seeking the help of past DHS marching band members and band parents. If you have anecdotes, time or artifacts to share, send comments to ourkaysvillestory@gmail.com or, if offering a donation, through our consideration form.
SOMETHING TO SEE – Are you a photographer who would like a chance to show some of your work in collaboration with the KFH Museum? If your pictures are representative of nature, ecology, people and events of our locale, send your query or proposal to ourkaysvillestory@gmail.com
IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS. In April, local museums countywide will all share items and activities that display small collection items. The KFH Museum will display the smallest CC potato chip bag ever at the display in Kaysville, and an artifact from a stagecoach station plus more in the Fruit Heights City Building foyer. See more information on the Davis County Museum’s Facebook group.
HISTORICAL MARKERS – We are working with Fruit Heights and Kaysville cities to install outdoor historical markers along trails and walking paths. Grizzly Graphics in Ogden is now printing signs and a fabricator is creating the initial frames. Installation and educational events will take place in May.
BAND UNIFORM DONATION – Last week we received a Kaysville Brass Band uniform ca. 1890 donation! Consider what you could gift which reflects our shared community heritage. Fill in the consideration form.
